The EcoHeat 300 is designed for easy DIY assembly. For a standard above-ground pool, you will need about two hours to mount the collectors and connect them to the filter pump. No electrical connection is required, as the water circulates solely through solar heat.
Yes, the cleaning robot is suitable for all pool shapes – round, oval, or octagonal. The sensors detect edges and corners and automatically adjust the cleaning route. Steps up to 25 centimeters in height are also easily overcome.
The cover meets safety requirements according to DIN EN 16582. It supports a weight of up to 80 kilograms per square meter and prevents accidental falls. Nevertheless, we recommend never leaving children unsupervised near the pool – the cover is an additional barrier, not a substitute for supervision.
The filter basket should be rinsed after every second cleaning cycle. A complete replacement of the filter cartridge is advisable every three to four months, depending on usage. In case of heavy soiling or algae growth, the interval may be shorter.
Yes, the collectors also operate in diffuse light. The heating effect is then lower – about 2 to 4 degrees Celsius instead of 6 to 8 degrees on sunny days. For a consistent water temperature, we recommend combining it with a cover to minimize heat loss overnight.
